Payment Procedure

Please understand that we ask for a percentage deposit (co-payment) of what we estimate your total cost will be. Afterward, we will submit a claim to your insurance company. If and when it is paid, you will receive a bill for your share of the payment and any unpaid balances. Once all of your insurance payments are in, you may receive a rebate check if you overpaid. Refund checks are typically sent out once a month from our office. Any outstanding balances that are more than 60 days old will have an interest rate of 1.5% per billing cycle.

Please remember that filing insurance claims can be a long and complicated process. As always, we will do our best to make sure that your claims are filed correctly and that you access your maximum benefits. If we do not receive payment from your insurance company within 60 days, you will be billed directly. Remember: you, the patient, have a lot more influence and legal rights with your insurance company than we do. Getting involved with your insurance payment process can help prevent a delayed claim or move it forward.
